Quick Look: Nick Jr. is now available to Roku customers whether you currently subscribe to a participating TV provider or not. Of course those who do subscribe will have full access to the channel, and non-subscribers have a much more limited viewing option. If you do still carry a cable or satellite subscription you can click on the "GET STARTED" button and choose your provider, follow the prompts and all of the Nick Jr. content will now be viewable via your Roku.
If you don't carry a subscription you can still enjoy selected episodes from some of your favorite shows like Dora, Peppa Pig, Blaze, Shimmer and Shine, PAW Patrol, Mutt and Stuff, and Yo Gabba Gabba. The show titles that have a lock on them are available only to those who have a subscription, but there are plenty of unlocked episodes available.
There are parental settings available, not that they are necessary, but you can add or remove Closed Captioning, Clear Search History, and Clear Playback History. (Note: A disclaimer in the developers description advises that the Nick Jr. app collects personal user data.)
