NASA

After many failed NASA channel offerings from third-party developers, NASA has finally released their own official Roku channel. The channel offers three live streams:

  • NASA TV (Public) - 24-hour broadcasting of live and recorded events and documentaries aimed toward the general public, as well as space and science programming for schools, museums, and other educational institutions.[1]
  • NASA TV (Media) - Dedicated to broadcast news organizations and other members of the press, featuring press release video, interviews, mission press conferences and other services.[1]
  • ISS Live Views - The High Definition Earth Viewing (HDEV) experiment places four commercially available HD cameras on the exterior of the space station and uses them to stream live video of Earth for viewing online.

The links above will take you to live feeds of each channel, as well as programming schedules for the Public and Media NASA TV feeds.

The channel also offers an extensive library of on demand content in the following categories:

  • This Week @NASA
  • Space to Ground
  • NASA Edge
  • Jet Propulsion Lab
  • NASA ScienceCast
  • Hubblecast
  • The Beautiful Universe: Chandra
  • NASA-X
