Okay, so there are only nine channels right now, but a tenth has been promised. That's not all that is incomplete, though. Only the three latest episodes of each series are available. That's acceptable for talk or sports shows, and maybe even for some comedies. But who wants to watch the last three episodes, including the series finale, of a seven-episode mystery series? Such is the case for Pieces on the Mystery & Suspense channel.
Each episode is short, generally around 10 minutes, give or take. Video quality is acceptable, but far from HD. The "about" page on FirstRunTV's website explains that FirstRunTV was developed for viewers using smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Their Roku channel takes those videos that were optimized for tiny screens and upsizes them for your TV, with the video quality suffering as a result.
