DownFall

DownFallQuick Look: The game Downfall is similar to Tetris, but with a few minor differences. The objective of the game is to prevent your screen from being filled with colored blocks. To avoid this from happening you move your cursor (using your Roku Remote arrow buttons) and "knock out" any 3 (or more) blocks of similar color by clicking on one of the blocks. The blocks must be touching on at least one side, whether they are horizontal, vertical, or in a random alignment.

There is another way to control the stacking up of blocks and that is to use the randomly added bombs. You can detonate the bombs by clicking on them and eliminating a large quadrant of blocks. If your blocks start stacking up and getting near the top of the screen, that particular section starts shaking making it difficult to see where your cursor is and clicking on blocks. In addition to the trembling blocks, as they approach the top the new blocks start dropping faster the farther into the game you progress. If you fail to keep the blocks from reaching the top in all of the columns the entire screen trembles and erupts signaling the game is over. The score is determined by the number of blocks destroyed, but a high score is not kept.
