2016 Presidential Debates on RokuSling TV this week announced the addition of two unrelated but popular programming options: Hallmark Channel and NHL Network.

NHL Network

NHL Network, the TV home for the National Hockey League, is now available on Sling TV. Sling TV is the first over-the-top TV provider to offer NHL Network, which provides live games and on-site coverage of NHL events, studio shows, interviews, highlights and expert analysis.

"With hockey season already in full-swing, diehard fans are donning their jerseys and Sling TV makes it easy and affordable to watch NHL Network wherever they are, so they don’t miss a single slap shot," Sling TV CEO Roger Lynch said in a statement. The NHL Network will offer more than 75 matchups to Sling TV customers, including New York Rangers v. Washington Capitals (Oct. 22), the Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™ between the Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers (Oct. 23), Pittsburgh Penguins v. Philadelphia Flyers (Oct. 29), and Los Angeles Kings v. Chicago Blackhawks (Oct. 30). (As with regular NHL Network telecasts, Sling TV games will be subject to local blackouts depending on the user's location.) NHL Network on Sling TV will also carry live weekday studio programming, including "NHL Now" at 4:00 p.m. ET, "NHL Tonight" at 6:00 p.m. ET, and the nightly highlights show "On The Fly."

The NHL Network is available as part of the Sports Extra package. Sling Blue and Sling Orange customers who subscribe to the "Sports Extra" add-on pack should already see the NHL Network in their channel guide. "Sports Extra" is $5 for Sling Orange customers and $10 per month for Sling Blue customers. These prices are the same as they were before the addition of NHL Network.

Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

Often requested by Roku viewers, Hallmark Channel has also been added to Sling TV. The family-friendly Hallmark Channel features original movies, primetime series, annual specials, lifestyle programming, and classics series. This weekend you'll find a 2-hour presentation of a new movie, "Good Witch: The Enchantress." You'll also find classic TV series, including "I Love Lucy," "The Middle," "Golden Girls," and "Frasier." In addition to the live Hallmark Channel feed, viewers will find over 20 hours of on-demand content.

In addition to the flagship Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will offer viewers original dramatic films and popular mystery movie series.

"Families are embracing our service and the wide array of family-friendly programs on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries makes Sling TV the perfect option for families looking to customize their entertainment," Roger Lynch, CEO of Sling TV, said in a statement. "Just in time for the holidays, subscribers can enjoy both networks' seasonal programming events, which include original movies and special programs like the 'National Christmas Tree Lighting' on December 5."

Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries are both part of the "Lifestyle Plus Extra' add-on pack for Sling Orange and Sling Blue, priced at $5 per month.
