Amazon Instant VideoRoku has announced the launch of Amazon Prime Instant Video on Roku. This video service is available to all Amazon Prime members at no additional charge. The Amazon Prime subscription charge will not change from the current $79 per year.

In addition to existing services such as free two-day shipping, Amazon Prime members now have access to unlimited, commercial-free, instant streaming of more than 5,000 movies and TV shows. The Amazon Instant Video channel can be accessed on your Roku DVP through the Channel Store.

If you don't want to join Amazon Prime, you can still rent or purchase movies and TV shows.
